February 2012 update

We’re back! The cameras have started rolling again and we are entering our last run of filming now with a release date finally in sight. In great Zombie Hood tradition our first shoot was freezing; filming by Trent Bridge, Nottingham in the early hours of Sunday morning. But our two lovely actresses managed to bear the cold, just about, and managed to deliver a great performance. Unfortunately we can’t give too much away as the scene follows a rather nasty zombie attack, so just know we shot something and it was awesome like always!

Sadly we can’t share too much with you about the film at the moment as our second shoot of the month had to be called off due to last weekend’s blizzard! But we have re-arranged it for this weekend along with another scene set in a graveyard so hopefully we’ll have much more to share with you in the next update.

However, not only are we providing the scares on set, but we are now offering some real life frights courtesy of Edinburgh Dungeons. Up for grabs is one family ticket to Edinburgh Dungeons, which can also be used at the York, Blackpool Towers and London venues as well. The ticket itself is valid for up to 2 adults and 2 children. To find out more about the Edinburgh Dungeons visit things to do in Edinburgh or if you want to plan your day jump straight to the Edinburgh attractions. From rides such as Extremis: Drop Ride to Doom, to a boat trip through the ‘Cave of Cannibals’ you can expect a fun if not terrifying day out. In order to win the tickets simply email your name and address to admin@zombiehood.co.uk with Edinburgh Dungeons in the header, the tickets expire on March 31st so the competition ends quickly on Feb 17th the winner will be contacted via email and the tickets will be sent out immediately.

zombie hoodOne last thing, as we enter the final few months of shooting we are really making sure Zombie Hood is as good as it can possibly be. This means finding perfect locations which require funding, so now we reach out to our fans to help us with this final hurdle. If you want to contribute to the film, there are several ways to help out and get on the credits. For more information visit our donations page. Thanks already to our first very generous sponsor.
