Harry Keeling

Harry has been at Nottingham Arts Theatre for nearly 10 years and has played many parts from 'POP' in Darling buds of May to 'Bottom' in Midsummer nights dream. He’s featured in several TV shows during the next few months including; A Doctor in Shameless, series 8, Channel 4. Harry Keeling - Bill

Tom Murton Tom has been acting since the age of 7 and is now 16.  His background in acting is mainly theatre based, but after appearing in a short last year, he discovered that he loved being in films. He also appeared in another film earlier this year called "Coming Home" by ‘Light films Ltd’ from Derby.
In September, Sam joined the television workshop, based in Nottingham. He is currently studying a Btec in Performing Arts at Joesph Wright in Derby. Sam hopes to go on to be an actor when he finishes college.

Richard lee O'Donnell

Richard originally studied Multimedia and was interested in video editing however it introduced him to acting for film. Already with a taste for the theatrics Richard had been professionally wrestling from age 16 to 21 performing on the independent scene. He is currently training to become a professional actor and over the past two years worked on stage, short films, feature films, TV and music videos. Rik is one of Richard's largest roles yet.

Jade first went to a stage school at the age of five, in which she took part in many large theatre productions, such as Annie, The King and I, and Mother Goose. Jade has recently finished filming two short films and has another feature film lined up in the near future, however this is the biggest production she has done so far.
Jade is now attending a Performing Arts Academy, in which she is doing a 2 year National Diploma in Acting. She hopes this role will lead to much bigger things in the future and help her achieve her dream of becoming a professional actress.

Alexandra Lyon

Alexandra has experience in theatre and film including Lyceum Theatre performances, extras in films such as SHANK and speaking roles with MTJ Media. She likes theatre, but has fallen for TV and film! She’s also a Gold Medal holder as a black belt in karate, which is one of her personal achievements.
Alexandra has many inspirations, such as Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Sandra Bullock, Beyonce, and Directors like Tim Burton etc. All of which have encouraged her to learn ways to improve by watching their work.

After completing several seasons with both the NYT and the NYMT, Edward then moved to London to work for the BBC at Broadcasting House and Television Centre. Edward made his professional debut as Gerald Forbes in ‘When We Are Married’ before making his West End debut as Harold Steptoe in ‘Steptoe and Son, Murder At Oil Drum Lane’. He’s also had the pleasure to work on film playing the lead ’John Miller in ’Coming Home’. He regularly presents for both national and international Blue Chip clients and has also lent his voice to some of the biggest broadcasters and programmes out there, from the children’s favourite ‘James’ in ‘Thomas The Tank Engine’ to the BBC and BskyB.

Alice Joyce

Alice Joyce started acting and modelling at the age of 5, since then, she has been busy with Photo Shoots, Commercial work and Musical Theatre. Alice is a member of New Youth Theatre Seniors and has played many parts in musicals such as Bugsy Malone ( Lena Marelli), Fame ( Grace Lamb),  Broadway and Beyond (Annie), Hits of the Musicals (Galinda) and Alice in Wonderland (Alice). She is currently in rehearsals playing “Dorothy” in the Wizard of Oz and “Lil Inez” in Hairspray. Alice’s passion is acting and singing; she has distinction at Grade 3 singing and starts LAMDA exams this year. She has done some filming previously, but Zombie Hood is her first lead role in a Feature film.

Alice Joyce - Melanie

Adelle is a self taught actress, catching the acting bug when she was very young. She joined the Derby Young Shakespeare society and performed both on stage and in front of the camera. She feels very honoured and excited to be involved with the Zombie Hood team, and finds the talent and enthusiasm of everyone very inspiring. She is currently plotting world domination in her spare time, and is already making good headway on the virus that will turn the population into her personal zombie army.

Adelle Overton - Ella

Daniela comes from a small town in Slovakia, which is even harder to pronounce than her surname. She has two sisters called Jana and Viktoria.
She studied drama in her hometown since the age of six and always wanted to be an actress or (Indiana Jones) as she loves archaeology. Moving to the UK 7 years ago, she studied for a degree in BA HONS Arabic with English and during that time she also worked as extra on Robin Hood.
You may also regonise Daniela as she was on the billboards in Trafalgar Square and Oxford Circus underground as the face of an Umbro advertising campaign.

Aged 16-17, Sarah studied a Btec First Diploma in acting as well as a Btec National Certificate in acting at New College Nottingham, Clarendon.
She is mainly from a theatre background, having worked with a company in the youth services with the Nottingham City Council called Creative Room. The company represented Nottingham, being empowered to do their own projects and being accredited along the way; this was specialised in theatre, street theatre, visual arts and physical theatre.

Sarah Astill - Georgina

Duke has been making music since the late 80's, and is a founding member (along with Dwyz) of Non-Thespian. He is also a vocalist with Papa La Bas doing spoken word, singing and rapping. Involved with performance art since the age of 5, Duke has honed his skills and is most at home delivering an energetic live performance. Acting has been a hobby that he has enjoyed, appearing in stage musicals and 3 short films. Zombie Hood will be Dukes' first appearance in a feature film, but hopefully not the last!

Sophie Hyde

After moving to Lincolnshire in late 2008 she joined the Backstage Academy of Performing Arts, appearing in several productions and gaining the opportunity to perform with the IDNC Gospel Choir at the Kings Lynn Corn Exchange theatre.  In 2010 Sophie gained her first role in a short film called ‘Sole Attachment’ appearing as the murderous ‘Ghost Girl’ (co-starring with fellow Zombie Hood actress Lindsey Parr.)  In mid 2011 she will be filming and appearing in a drama that is being made for television. 

Sophie Hyde - Kate

Lindsey is 33 and has lived in Nottingham all her life. Her interest in performing arts started when she was 21 when she joined the Bonington Players in Arnold and began performing on stage 3 times a year in various productions ranging from The Importance of Being Earnest, Oscar Wilde, A Midsommer Nights Dream, Shakespeare to children's productions such as the Owl and the Pussycat and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Lindsay Parr - Kate's Mother

Most recognisable from his three month stint on Channel 4's Big Brother, Marcus is a former pro wrestler and has starred in the upcoming film "Zombies from Ireland", as well as being a big fan of all genres of Zombie movies.

Marcus Akin – Band Manager

Shafina, daughter of the late Raj Patel who was a familiar face on British TV, was born in London. Growing up in California, Shafina received drama and runway training from the age of 12 into her teens. Since returning to the UK, she has learnt her craft and performed a mix of Bollywood and Urban fusion style dancing with the talented choreographer Rajesh Chouhan, working alongside artists such as Taz Stereo Nation, Shaan, Upen Patel and Hard Kaur. Shafina has also modelled for the popular online catalogue Cuckoo Fashion. She is now taking time to focus her acting career and has made appearances in TV commercials, short films, theatre and is currently working on a lead part in a British Asian telefilm.

Lauren, 21, is an experiMENTAL self taught musician and occasional model. She lives in Sheffield and has been writing darkly humorous, sexually frantic and brutally honest poetry for 3 years and has her own self-made poetry book available directly from her.

Ian was born in Ilford in 1963. He moved to Nottingham after leaving the Army and joined his local drama group where he enjoys all aspects of theatre, from playing Panto dames to directing plays.

Mike is a former professional wrestler, current geek and lifelong zombie movie fan. He can be seen regularly on stage around Warwickshire, and has just finished performing in three short films Inspired by quirkily realistic actors and actresses, Mike hopes to slot nicely into that category as his acting career progresses. Presently training with StageFight performance combat school, and with twelve years of martial arts experience under his belt, Mike looks forward to taking on as many zombies as he can!

Sue is from Wigan and loves watching movies. A big horror fan, Sue studied drama at school and is very excited about her role in this feature length film. Sue is looking forward to working with the Zombie Hood team and can't wait to film her first scene.

Sue Prunty - Brenda

Andy has been interested in acting since he was very young, but it's only recently, after doing some "extra" work that he's decided to persue it further. Andy is a a big fitness freak, he is a black belt in karate and has represented England at 3 world championships in Las Vegas.

Aston is an accomplished, talented up and coming actress from Nottingham. She prides herself in being a versatile performer, and in her short time as a professional has achieved great acclaim. Aston is currently in her final year at Expressions Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in July 2011. Aston has also been involved with the 'Acting About Theatre' company for 3 years. She is very excited to be joining the 'Zombie Hood' team and is looking forward to starting the project.

Aston Fisher - Sharon

Annabel discovered she had a passion for acting after playing Frenchy in Grease at school. At 16 she successfully auditioned for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and has been in performances with them (such as S'Warm last year). She has achieved distinctions in BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and train with AGF Performing Arts in Nottingham. Screen work includes the films 'Rough and Ready', 'The Passing Place' and various other short films. She currently acts for 'It's Murder' Murder Mystery Company and Pintsize Theatre TIE Company.

Annabel Pidduck - Samantha

Amy attended the ‘Helen O’Grady Drama Academy’ for three years and is currently studying her first year on the Acting Foundation Degree at Clarendon Performing Arts Campus in Nottingham, receiving a Triple Distinction on her BTEC National Diploma in Acting and a Special Individual Acting Award at her Graduation. Charlotte has taken part in a wide range of different performances, and recently completed a short film in Nottingham, playing the lead role in a Horror/Thriller associated with Confetti Studio’s.

Gemma always had great regret in not getting in to acting sooner, only starting to encourage herself to do so this year. Becoming a successful actress has always been just a fantasy for her so it's an acheivement to have landed a part in Zombie Hood. She believes, we all need to pay attention to our dreams.

Gemma Rowe - Del

John has no formal acting training, but has been involved in numerous live-action roleplaying games. He was pleased to be picked out for the role of the bouncer whilst attending one of the fantastic zombie schools held in Nottingham, having been a long-time fan of all things horror including the zombie movie genre.

Paige comes from Birmingham and attends Bellford Stage School weekly, where she studies LAMDA acting and speech examinations, having gotten up to Grade 4 acting with merit grades and Grade 3 speech with both merit and distinction grades. Paige has also had recent interest taken in her from a modelling company, Models MGMT who gave her a photo-shoot. She has always had an interest in acting and would be happy with any opportunities that arose in this field. She feels very honoured and excited to be involved in this film.

InIsolation

In Isolation have taken the best aspects of New Wave, Post-Punk and contemporary/80s Indie, weaving it recklessly around four disparate personalities to forge a unique and stark sound for the post-Noughties.
The band was recently asked into the studios of Gavin Monaghan (Editors/Kings Of Leon/Paolo Nutini) to record a couple of tracks, resulting in 'Film Noir Scandal' and 'Shallow Remedies'. In Isolation are currently in the process of writing their debut album. Their debut single 'Virus' is being used as the theme music for the forthcoming TV comedy/drama 'Eyeliner and Cigarettes'. Steve Best

Steve is the writer and director of Zombie Hood, which is his first full length feature film. Steve has always had a love of everything horror film related, creating 3 short films before his 16th birthday. Steve works in the computer games industry as a Media consultant, which also allows him to write and produce engaging corperate video content. Steve's directing style allows the actors to have more control over their characters, which offers them the opportunity to express themselves to the full.

Susan Hayes

Susan started making short Videos for the Local Nottingham Community Channel 5 back in 1998. Having Graduated from Ravensbourne college London in 2003; Susan went on to work in the television industry; being involving in programmes such as Big Brother, Hells Kitchen, Design Wars and Channel 4 documentary series ‘under the knife.’  After 2 years working as a Gallery Producer for Bid TV and Price Drop, Susan changed her career path and became a PA / Events coordinator for Haymarket Media, where she continued to stay behind the camera and produce corporate videos. Now back in Nottingham, she wants to continue to produce films and video content, as well as working with the creative talent that the East Midlands has to offer!

Paul comes from North Notts with his my day job involving working for a local NHS Trust.
Being a horror junkie, he jumped at the chance of being a zombie extra in aPint's first experimental project and has stepped up to a more senior role in this feature film, primarily as the as a Producer and the On-Site Manager.

Jayne is a Special Make-up & Physical Effects Artist who relocated to Nottingham from South Wales around 3 years ago in order gain experience in film. Since training at Shepperton Studios in 2004 she has worked on numerous short films as well as theatre, music videos and live events. Having formed a good network with several crews in the East Midlands she has branched out from her primary role as an SFX artist and has worked in set design, stills photography, costume and other areas, having a passion for any creative challenges which present themselves."

Dwyz aka David Wayman, Zombie Hoods cinematographer and sound/music director. A music producer from Nottingham, he releases tracks through his label Team Chameleon. Craig studied TV and film production at university, but didn't follow up his passion for film making until almost 10 years later by helping film 'Ay up me duck of the dead'. He has now turned his sights on helping to produce the film while also assisting with the cinematography. Craig is also scared of zombies.

Cathy has had aspirations to be a special effects make-up artist for a long time and therefore made the decision to follow the route through university rather than a specialised make-up school, feeling she could concentrate more on the special effects side of the profession. She has also, for the past 15 years, used her skills to produce a variety of designs with face painting and special effects wounds, which kids love. Cathy studied Fine Art at the University of Derby where she specialised in 3D form and digital media.

Catherine Terzza – Make-up

Lauren has two degrees in film but still has no idea quite what kind of film related job she wants to pursue. After a brief stint in production at channel four, Lauren turned to film journalism. Her articles have appeared in the Metro and Total Film magazine and she is a regular contributor to the Nottingham Evening Post and Shock Horror magazine. With little previous sound training Lauren is now rather fond of her boom stick.

Kim graduated from NTU in 2002 after studying Media and Cultural Studies and has always had a keen interest in film, especially the Horror genre. She decided to embark on a career in Make Up a year and a half ago after doing the Level 2 Fashion and Photographic Make Up Diploma. Her proudest achievement so far is doing the make up for Miss England 2011. She is just about to start her Level 3 Diploma in Make Up Artistry, which she is really looking forward to. Zombie Hood is the first feature film she has worked on.

Laura decided to study makeup Artistry level 3 at college straight from leaving school! She quickly became interested in special effects makeup and the film industry. Laura is very grateful to have been given this early opportunity to contrubute and be part of the crew, which has given her valuable experience in an area she hopes to continue in.

Patrick has had a great intrest in fx makeup since he was 18 and has been working at it as a hobby. He has recently joined the make-up team on Zombie Hood, giving him the opportunity to learn new skills and improve his portfolio.

Steve Askey

Steve is a 3D artist based in Sheffield, where he produces animations and presentations for a local digital media company. He has worked on music videos for Emilie Simon and The Wombats, as well as idents for E4 and Granada TV.
He is also a certified CGI trainer and can teach basic to advanced classes in 3D animation and digital compositing.
Outside of the day job, he has a keen interest in film making and currently has two short films in production with fellow film maker Melanie Tighe.

Rich is a 3rd Year Theatre Design student at Nottingham Trent University.  Originally he is from Sidcup, Kent and moved up to Nottingham in 2008 to start his first year at university.  He has a few Lighting designs under his belt already, and is looking forward to expanding these to include his first film.  Rich's other interests include Set & costume Design, as well as construction for both.

Luke is a 18 year old student currently studying Interactive Media at New College Nottingham. He had an interest in digital graphics from an early age and taught himself to create websites from the age of 13. He is constantly working to improve his skills and is hoping to continue on to university where he would like to gain the experience needed for a career in digital graphics. Luke is very excited to be involved in zombie hood and can't wait to see the final film.

Steven is our 'Zombie Specialist' dealing in anything related to the Undead. This guy eats, breathes and sleeps zombies. He's been a fan of horror films since his early teens, but over the last 4 years has been getting involved with every zombie related film and event that his day-to-day job will allow time for. He's done make-up and Zombie extra work for a number of short films, two feature length, two web based Series' and thee documentaries - including House Party Of The Dead 5, Zombie Undead, I Am Tim, Zomblogalypse, and Ay Up Me Duck Of The Dead, Dead End and most recently OUTPOST 2. Steven also designed and ran our 'Zombie School' for the zombie extras.

Originally from Exeter, Devon, Clare moved to Nottingham in 2007 to start her Fine Art degree at Nottingham Trent University. Having specialized in moving image Clare is actively gaining onset experience. Since graduating in the summer 2010 she has worked on film production teams across the UK, to support her Cinematography MA application later in the year.

Filipe was born and raised in Recife, North east Brazil. His first degree is in Journalism. He moved to Nottingham in 2009 to become a Television Journalism MA student. In 2010, Filipe produced a short documentary called 'Solving Problems', about independent horror movie filmmakers in England, which is currently receiving acclaim at many film festivals.

Mel is a Sheffield-based filmmaker, co-founder of 'They Say That Productions' and a dab-hand at zombie make-up.
She's currently working on a horror short 'Losing Weight in Sheffield 8'.

Mike is a third year Media Production student at the University of Lincoln. Mike has always loved watching and talking about films and comedy. Mike especially loves a good story, saying that he would love to be a film or TV writer one day. He makes short comedy sketches with his twin brother Jacob on his YouTube channel, Fratocrats.
